Birth Doula Support
Basic Birth Support - Starting at $750
- 2 Prenatal visits with a focus on childbirth education, identifying birth preferences, and preparing for labor
- Virtual support by text/phone/e-mail
- On-call for labor support 24/7 starting at 37 weeks gestation
- Physical and emotional support for labor, birth, and into the immediate postpartum period to support skin to skin and baby's first latch
- Amateur photography after the birth, if desired
- 1 postpartum visit with a focus on emotional support, physical healing, and answering any newborn care questions
- Referral to community resources, as needed
Breastfeeding Support Package - Starting at $1,000
Basic Birth Support PLUS:
- 1 additional prenatal visit focused on breastfeeding education and preparation
- 3 lactation focused visits in the postpartum period to assist with positioning and latch, feeding frequency, identifying feeding cues, establishing and maintaining milk supply, and education for use of a breast pump and breastmilk storage, if needed

Birth Support for scheduled surgical birth (cesarean section) - Starting at $400
Basic Birth Support PLUS:
- 3 extended 4-hour daytime postpartum support visits, personalized to meet your needs, these visits can include assistance and education with infant care and breastfeeding or bottle feeding, emotional and physical support for recovery after birth, preparation of nourishing meals and snacks, light household assistance, and sibling support

*Please note that if you are giving birth at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, they only allow one support person in the operating room. If you would prefer to have a different support person with you, I can still provide support before and after. This option does not include on-call labor support.

- 1-2 hours of in-person education and support
- Education will be tailored to your individual needs
- This visit can also be used to bring me to a provider appointment with you
- Referral to community resources, as needed
- Text support for follow-up questions
*Prenatal visits may be added onto any birth package or purchased as a stand-alone service. I recommend having at least 2 prenatal visits in preparation of labor to allow sufficient time for education, practicing labor positions, identifying birth preferences, and answering any questions.
